Imagine a luxury hotel giving you that temporary sanctuary on vacation. Haven't you always wanted to bring that home? We combined the styles of three of her favorite luxury hotels across the world to design this bright, extravagant bathroom.
Virtual design model into reality...
To create the spa feel, we covered the room, head-to-toe, in lavish tiling. A Carrara marble porcelain tile wrapping around the walls and a glossed pebbled flooring for the shower. We installed a grand niche for her products and a shaving shelf, adding those little hotel conveniences.
Opposite from the shower, we installed an Italian gloss vanity under the custom cement trough sink that we had made specifically for the client and mounted dark pipe faucets to the wall to complete this luxurious vanity. We complimented this piece with DIY mirrors that our team put together!
We added a custom vanity made in our shop, as her personal make-up counter. But for a unique touch, we chose to use a white, reverse painted mirror top and drawer front, finishing it off with an integrated light mirror.
In order to give the area a more contemporary feel, but provide separation from the washroom, we partially demoed a wall to open up the space. We frosted all the windows for privacy without losing light, adding that same style to the new luxury closet.
This bathroom transports this client to her very own luxury “hotel” everyday, by checking all the boxes and giving her the feel of all her favorite destinations in her home. This is a space that is meant for relaxation, restoration, and rejuvenation.
